Giuseppe’s Pizzeria & Ristorante is a family owned and operated full-service restaurant located in the heart of beautiful Meredith, New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee. Nestled in the Mill Falls Marketplace, Giuseppe's boasts picture-worthy stunning historical features of industrial wooden beams, rustic brick, natural stone, and wrought iron. This unique and popular “hidden gem” of a restaurant is one of the Lakes Region’s most loved since 1989.
Our History
The philosophy of serving up great pizza and Italian specialties with great live musical entertainment was started by the restaurant's founder Joe “Giuseppe” Gnerre, when he and his family opened their first Pizzeria in Ogunquit, Maine in 1987. Joe's daughter Julie Gnerre- Bourgeois and her husband Michael Bourgeois continue to work hard to preserve the family business and the company’s motto: “Very Musical, Very Italian & Very Good!" daily, year-round, in beautiful Meredith NH.
Awards & Recognitions
Giuseppe’s tributes its success and reputation to its founder, the late and great Joe "Giuseppe" Gnerre, Pizza Master Extraordinaire, to its customers, and to its dedicated and devoted long- time employees who have worked at Giuseppe’s over the past 35 years.
Along with receiving annual awards for Best Pizza in the Lakes Region and Most Friendly Staff in The Lakes Region, the most recent accolade features the recognition of front of house manager Alexander White, whom has been with the company for over 30 years and was proudly awarded the 2022 Restaurant Employee of The Year by the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association!
